Most of our instructors are bilingual. Some tend to teach more in French than in English, while for others, it is the opposite.
At the beginning of class, instructors generally take the time to check whether everyone understands the language being used for instruction. If they forget to do so, don’t hesitate to let them know what you need. They will be happy to teach in both languages or translate certain explanations as needed.
However, if they are not able to do so, we invite you to ask the other students for help, as most of them speak more than one language!
Our classes are offered to people aged 16 and over.
Although it is still an adult class, K-Pop is the only class that accepts children starting at 10 years old. In this case, parental consent is required. Here are the steps to follow:
1️⃣ The parent creates an account in the child’s name.
2️⃣ The parent writes to informations@studiobizz.com to let us know that the account has been created.
3️⃣ The studio acknowledges receipt of the message before sending the parental consent form.
4️⃣ The parent reads and signs the form by logging into the child’s account.
5️⃣ Once signed, it is automatically added to the child’s profile.
Access to the class may be refused if the signed form is not present in the account.
You can pause your membership by contacting us by email or in person during your next visit to the studio.
When submitting your request, please make sure to specify the reason for the pause as well as the requested dates. Please allow 24 to 48 hours for your request to be processed and for the pause to take effect.
Here is a reminder of the terms and conditions specific to each type of membership regarding the permitted pause duration:
> Welcome Month: maximum pause of 5 consecutive days, once only during the month.
> Unlimited Monthly Contract: maximum pause of 14 consecutive days, once per year.
> 3-Month Unlimited Membership: maximum pause of 7 consecutive days, once only during the membership period.
> 6-Month Unlimited Membership: maximum pause of 14 consecutive days, once only during the membership period.
> Annual Membership: maximum pause of 30 consecutive days, once per year.
*The number of paused days will be added to the end of the membership.
Class cards are valid for 5 years. With a class card, you do not need to worry about pausing it while you are away on vacation.
No. To earn points, you must scan the QR code at reception before each class using the Zone SB app.
To access the scanner, tap the three lines in the top-left corner of the screen, then select the “Scan Here” icon.
Please note: Zone SB and Studio Bizz are two different apps.
The Zone SB app is used only to earn points and redeem rewards. The Studio Bizz app is used to purchase memberships and/or class cards and manage your bookings.
To claim your offer, go to the home page of the Zone SB app, then select your next reward once you have earned the required number of points.
You will then receive an email confirming that your request has been submitted. Please allow 24 to 48 hours for reception to process your request and apply your complimentary reward.
No. Class cards cannot be shared or transferred to another person. Each person must have their own account, with their own memberships or class cards.
Since you must confirm your attendance at reception, it is not possible to make two bookings under the same name.
Give them one or more gift cards covering the value of the package you would like to offer!
Important: Don’t forget to include taxes when calculating the total amount.
Choose a fixed-value gift card of $50 or $100, or select a custom-value gift card. The amount can range from $25 to $500.
You can find them in two places:
> On our website, under Our Classes in the Rates & Subscriptions section.
> In the Studio Bizz app, under the Studio section of the bottom navigation bar, in the Gift Cards tab.
Yes. It is important to check the specific requirements for each class, which are listed in the class descriptions on our website. Some classes may require specific equipment, such as a yoga mat, knee pads, or other accessories that are essential for the class and for your safety.
We only provide specialized equipment that may be more difficult to obtain, such as pom-poms for Cheer Dance classes, steps for Step classes, as well as any other fitness equipment required for certain classes.
Studio Bizz can also lend you a yoga mat in exchange for a piece of ID. Quantities are limited, so we recommend bringing your own mat to make sure one is available and also for hygiene reasons.
There is no strict dress code at the studio. Simply wear clothing that you feel comfortable moving and sweating in, such as leggings, joggers, shorts, or a loose- or fitted-style top.
If you are unsure, simply choose shoes that you feel comfortable dancing in and bring a pair of socks. This will allow you to adjust based on your personal comfort.
During winter, from November 15 to April 15, you must bring indoor shoes and leave your boots at the entrance.
First, please note that heels are not mandatory. You are welcome to try the style barefoot or in regular shoes at first to become familiar with the type of movement.
If you would then like to ease into wearing heels, we recommend closed ankle shoes with a stiletto heel under 4 inches.
Introduction or Beginner

Intermediate/Advanced
Designed for dancers who already have a strong foundation and want to continue improving. This level is not recommended for beginners.
Advanced
For experienced dancers who already have a strong command of the discipline and want an additional challenge, improve their precision, and further develop their style.
Our class cards and regular memberships give you access to our regular schedule, which includes between 80 and 90 classes per session.
They do not include:
SB Programs;
Country Friday and Nostalgie evenings;
SB Workshops;
other special events outside the regular schedule.
These activities are offered and sold separately.
Important: if you purchase a class card, make sure to choose the correct format. 1-hour class cards cannot be used to book 1.5-hour classes, and vice versa.
You must book your classes in the Studio Bizz app under the Planning tab or on our website under the Schedule section.
We strongly recommend booking as far in advance as possible to make sure you get a spot in the classes you want.
However, unless a class is full, you can book right up until the class begins.
Yes. When a class is full, you will automatically be given the option to join the waitlist, unless the waitlist is already full.
The waitlist does not work on a priority basis. Whether you are the first or last person to join it, you have the same chance of getting a spot.
As soon as a spot becomes available, you will receive an email notification. The spot will go to the first person who completes their booking after receiving the message.
Studio Bizz refreshes its schedule every season! The classes generally remain similar from one session to the next, but some may be added, moved, replaced, or cancelled.
Fall session: Early September to mid-December
Winter session: Early January to late April
Spring session: Early May to late June
Summer session: Early July to late August
Schedule changes may occur at any time without notice. However, the main waves of changes generally take place at the beginning of each session.
Absolutely! To request private classes, simply submit your request through the Our Classes section of our website, under the Private Class tab.
Fill out the form on this page: https://studiobizz.com/en/private-class/
You do not need to arrive very early, but we recommend allowing a few minutes before your class to check in, change your shoes or clothes, fill your water bottle, and get settled.
A lounge area is also available where you can wait comfortably before or between classes. You will find beanbags, tables, chairs, a work counter, as well as a microwave and utensils. You can even buy drinks or snacks at our café counter!
You must cancel your class at least 6 hours in advance to free up your spot and allow someone else to book it.
In the event of a late cancellation or no-show, a penalty will be applied depending on the package you have:
> 1 or 10 Class Cards: Your class credits will not be refunded.
> Welcome Month: 5-day booking suspension after 3 late cancellations/no-shows within a 31-day period.
> 3-Month Unlimited Membership: A 10$ fee, taxes included, after 2 late cancellations/no shows within a 30-day period.
> Unlimited Monthly Contract, 6-Month Unlimited Membership & Annual Membership: A $10 fee, taxes included, after 3 late cancellations/no-shows within a 30-day period.
> Open House Week or Discovery Week: 1-day booking suspension after 3 late cancellations within a 7-day period.
When your card is suspended, you will not be able to book new classes, but you may still attend classes you have already booked.
Late arrivals are not permitted in yoga classes, in order to maintain an uninterrupted meditative environment, or in Pole Dance classes, to help prevent injuries caused by missing part of the warm-up.
For all other classes, we allow a 15-minute grace period. After that, you will no longer be allowed to enter the class and your credits will not be refunded.
If you encounter an issue, we recommend calling us at 514-526-2499 to let reception know.
Yes. If there is any change affecting your class, you will receive an email notification. If an instructor is being replaced, the information will also be shared in our Instagram Story.
For same-day class cancellations, we also call the affected members to notify them. Please note that French or international phone numbers may not always be reachable, so we recommend checking your email before coming to the studio.
