House Dance is synonymous with freedom, improvisation, and feeling the music. The main elements of House Dance are Jacking, Footwork, and Lofting. Jacking, or “Jack,” an ecstatic and sensual movement of the torso, is the most iconic dance movement associated with the early days of House Music.

House Dance is a dance style that emerged in the late 1970s and early 1980s in underground clubs in Chicago and New York City. The style was influenced by many different movement forms, including tap dance, African dances, Latin dances, and martial arts.
