Cardio Pilates
The Cardio Pilates class combines cardiovascular circuit training, pilates mat work, and stretch. Sessions are open level and offer different modifications to meet the participants where they’re at in their current physical condition. This makes the class personal by giving power to each participant to adjust the level of training, while still working out in a group atmosphere.
General flow of the class moves from a warm-up to get the body moving and heart rate up, to a circuit series, followed by some mat work and a cool down stretch. Exercises are chosen specifically to ensure that the full body is targeted over the duration of the hour class. Increased mobility and flexibility, improvements in stamina and posture, awareness of breath, and increased muscular strength are a few of the benefits you will likely feel from taking the Cardio-Pilates class.
Studio Bizz provides all props used over the course of the class. However, participants are welcome to bring their own mat if they wish.
