Johan Barbosa

Johan Barbosa, originally from Cali, Colombia, has been teaching salsa caleña in Montreal since 2017. Trained in several dance academies in Cali, he developed a strong foundation in this iconic style before moving to Canada.

In Montreal, he joined various dance schools and groups, where he expanded his journey by exploring other Latin dance styles. These experiences allowed him to deepen and broaden his overall understanding of dance.

In 2024, he launched his own project, Kadencia Salsa Caleña, with the mission of sharing the energy, technique, and cultural richness of salsa caleña in an accessible, dynamic, and welcoming environment.
