Dayton is a west coast native, recently relocated to Montréal to pursue further dance education and experience in the commercial world.
Dayton started his dance training at a young age in the styles of hip hop, jazz, contemporary and tap in tandem with gymnastics and martial arts. Harbour dance centre (Vancouver) is where Dayton continued to train after graduation and through the duration of his Bachelor of Kinesiology degree (UBC). During his time at UBC he cheered at the collegiate level for the Thunderbirds.
Gaining interest in educating other’s and sharing his knowledge he became a competitive dance coach and choreographer for the past 4 years, winning titles with Summit Dance Challenge, Evolve Dance Challenge.
During his adult career Dayton developed a passion for heels. Dancing previously with the company Valley Girls Dance (Courtenay,BC) and now Aura (Montréal, QC).
Upon relocating to Mtl, Dayton has already worked under Janick Arseneau in the le gala Adisq, dancing backup for Fouki (artist). He has been featured in multiple video productions with Aura Montréal.
Aspiring to do more with his professional career as a dancer, Dayton is continually taking classes and online seminars to maintain knowledge.
