Official launch of StudioBizz.tv platform
For immediate release
Montréal, November 13th 2020 – Studio Bizz, which rents its rental spaces to teachers and creators, will invest $ 250,000 over the next 6 months to produce online cultural content on its new digital platform StudioBizz.tv. To do this, its founding president, Martin Giroux, plans to hire around thirty teachers and artists.
In the Studio Bizz ecosystem, each teacher is a tenant, therefore an SME. This business model encourages entrepreneurship and risk-taking for independent teachers. Since the start of the pandemic, too many obstacles have been preventing teachers from offering classes in a studio with a group of people. Studio Bizz therefore consulted its team to think about new business opportunities.
How to help cultural entrepreneurs?
At the beginning of the lockdown, the teachers were doing their best to offer online classes from home, regardless of audio-visual quality. We then realized we had to work on creating our own broadcasting platform. As soon as Studio Bizz reopened last July, a team was assigned to the project. In order to meet our ambitions, we have assembled specific equipment for our needs, notes Daniele Tomelleri, designer of the present recording stations. We reviewed everything: synopsis, decor, technology channel, uploading, etc! After several broadcasts on a test audience, we came up with a winning formula. Teachers who come to our platform can once again focus on what they care about: TEACHING! Since September, ten teachers and nearly 250 students have taken advantage of online classes offered on StudioBizz.tv. The company has already invested $ 50K to develop its concept. His next step is to invest $ 250,000 to produce 2,000 hours of content over the next 6 months.
Who says content, says recruitment of teachers and artists!
To create content, you need a strong production team, but most importantly, teachers ready to take on new challenges. By January, our goal is to add 30 new teachers in addition to the 10 we are currently working with. In the upcoming weeks, we will be hiring teachers and artists from various disciplines: dance, circus, theater, singing, drawing, humor, storytelling, etc., to help create exclusive and very varied content. Martin Giroux and Daniele Tomelleri are convinced that the platform will allow professors and artists in the performing arts community to reach a new clientele on several levels: local, provincial, national and even international.
